About This
Archive
An unofficial fan archive: five records, the twin-vocal attack, the songs and the live show, written by listeners for anyone arriving at the records now.
This is an unofficial fan archive. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the band, its members, management or any label. Nobody involved with the records had any part in it.
What is here
Listening notes, written in past tense about music that has already been recorded. The catalogue is ordered by how hard each record pushes rather than by when it arrived, because that is a more useful map for a new listener than chronology.
Every record on this site is represented by a typographic plate — the title set in this site's own display face on its own tint. No sleeve artwork is reproduced, imitated or approximated. The photography is abstract: a stage light, a tangle of cable, a cracked cymbal edge, a torn flyer wall.
What is not here
- No photographs of the band or any member, and no likenesses.
- No interviews, and no quotes attributed to anybody.
- Nothing about members' private lives or their other projects.
- No tour dates, tickets or news — nothing that expires.
- No publish dates. A record's release year is a historical fact and stays.
How the notes are written
From the records. Where a detail is uncertain, the note describes the music instead of asserting the fact. The intensity scores are one listener's reading, published so you can disagree with them — they measure how often a record drops to near-silence, how fast it comes back, and whether it ever lets a section repeat long enough to feel safe.
